In Politics of Friendship Derrida interprets Nietzsche’s philosophy. What emerges by this interpretation is that Nietzsche can be seen as the thinker of an extreme and irreconcilable otherness. Nietzsche’s philosophy, for the french thinker, could teach a way of thinking different from those of the metaphysical and ontological tradition based on the ontological dimension of the presence.
